JAS Fitness, LLC is operated by trainer and fitness instructor John Anthony Sammartano. John holds two certifications from the International Sports Science Association in Water Fitness Training and Specialist in Fitness for Older Adults. John has also completed levels 1 and 2 of Sara Meeks Seminars: Osteoporosis- A Comprehensive Treatment Strategy. He has been in the fitness field since 2006.
Located within Leisure Square (3705 16th St), personal training and group classes are held in a 1600 square foot fitness studio. Classes include basic strength training for beginners and seniors, core development, soft step aerobics, yoga, cardio kickboxing, kettle bell training, water aerobics and post rehab personal training when necessary.

The availability of a pool staffed with lifeguards provides a safe and gentle environment for post joint surgery rehabilitation and for those suffering from arthritic conditions.
Pay as you go personal training and group classes. All of our classes do not require a membership to attend. We practice a casual approach to and do not believe in high pressure sales tactics like the "New Member Orientation" or "Free Fitness Consultations" that end with a sales pitch from a trainer trying to seal a deal.
